Busted at Bruster's

Ever find yourself tripped, about to fall, and so you do a little dance--hopping and jumping--to prevent the embarassing impact of body on pavement? Of course, you look just a little odd just trying to keep your balance!

Last Sunday afternoon, with about 30 minutes together, our family merged at the local Brusters. Three cars; 5 people. Talk about a family burning a candle at both ends! I'm walking on the sidewalk, talking to Vickie who is sitting in her car. She is, of course, much smarter than. She simply handed a ten dollar bill to the daughter in her car and sat nice and cool. Me--I'm walking and talking and looking backward and run right into a bench. The whole parking lot enjoyed my little routine of staying on my feet!

Walking slower. Keeping your eyes looking forward. Not bad wisdom at all!

Carson danced into the bench with some pain
His clerical posture to regain
Had his sermon for Sunday
Even a good one for Monday
To bring a chuckle to others has not lived in vain!
